July 23rd - back to Denmark
after a long transfer day, we let the kids sleep in for the first time. And to my amazement I woke each of the rooms up at 11:30 am and they were all out. Not one kid was awake so tells me we had some tired kids. Got up, got organized, walked around the complex, then had check in. After lunch we decided to take the kids to the beach. All excited and we walked about 3 miles to the train and took a 30 minute train ride to Hirtshalls. A great little town. It was cool and misty but that was not gonna stop us. All kids in the water, and it was cold, very cold but so good for our legs. Loved it.
World War II German pill boxes lined the beaches and some of did some exploring. Dinner on their own in town and then a train ride back to walk home in the rain. Its about 50 degrees out so chilly.
Back to school, meeting and 10 pm curfew. A much needed day off and kids are recharged. The boys C returned home safely so happy to hear about that and tomorrow we start training and preparations for the cup including Dana Cup opening ceremonies.
More tomorrow,
Ciao, Ed
