July 10th - transfer day

today we transfer to Frederikshavn after a great camp at Aabybro.  Up at 7:30 to clean the rooms, mop the floors, wash the restrooms, collect the linens, etc.  Not too sure how my of these kids have used a mop but after today, most of them can now say they have.  Breakfast t 9 and then off at 10. Only an hour drive, but enough time to nap text and chat with their friends and family as the kids have their phone during transfers.

We arrive at our new school accommodations with one team per classroom.  Small but cozy, great team bonding.  Raining today and cool but after several hours of blowing up mattresses, arranging rooms, etc. we are finally ready.  We walk about 2 miles to dinner, pasta and it was pretty good.  

After dinner, we walk to the stadium and march for our opening ceremonies.  Kids really enjoyed it and our uniforms are a huge hit.  We were the last team to walk the stage and the kids did great.

Back to school, meetings to announce our captains and review tomorrows schedule as games start tomorrow and kids are ready.
