July 19th - games continue as girls have an 8 am game, ugh, but 6:30 breakfast, walk to tram and we are ready for the game.  Girls win again 3-0 vs a German team and are in 1st place in the group.  its actually cool to report that several of our parents who have made the trip now are chanting some of our SnS songs.  Not very well in the beginning but they improve and the kids love it.

Boys 15 get a chance to play on heden which is the center of the Cup and fields are right in the middle of downtown.  We play against a really good Czech team and lose 3-0 but still a cool experience.

Boys 18 play a tough Norwegian team and lose a heartbreaker on a late goal 2-1.

in the this cup you are grouped in teams of 4.  play each other once and then top 2 go to winners bracket and bottom 2 go to consolation bracket so every point is precious.

Its only Tuesday but we have some exhausted kids so we mandate a team nap in the hotel and its just what Coach Ed ordered as some kids slept for 3 hours and are so refreshed and eager to play on Wednesday.  Wednesday is moving day as we say in the cup so huge results ahead of us.
