July 16th - Final day - girls are ready for the the final as we play against another American team at 10:15 am

Boys are ready too as they are energized and ready to help with chanting.  Hope some of you got up at 3:15 am to watch on our livestream as it was great.

scoreless first half and Jayda scored a great goal with about 12 minutes remaining to put us up 1-0.  Courtney makes a point blank save to keep us ahead and then with 5 minutes left Emma secures the win with another goal.

Final - Stars 'n Stripes 2, Scandia 0 - girls win the Cup 1 B bracket and the celebration is on.

A sea of red as the girls are surrounded by the boys as their energy the entire game was deafening.  Great team spirit and we are so proud of the girls and the boys.  They celebrate and kiss the cup, etc.  Quick lunch and bus ride back to school so we can change and go to the beach.  Palm Beach as its called was awesome as kids swam and played sand soccer and just hung out.  Much needed RnR.  We now walk into Frederickshaven to show the kids how quaint this town is and we allow them in groups of 4 or more to go and eat.  Pizza, pasta, etc, so kids had a nice time

They are packing now, showering, cleaning, as we have 6 am wake up, 7 am departure for ferry to Gothenburg for next leg of our trip.  

big thank you to Denmark for the hospitality and kindness we have received at every turn.  Truly awesome.  Still sad to report that we are only missing 1 bag now so 6 of our 7 bags have been found and delivered.  Looking forward to the Gothia cup and please wish us safe travels tomorrow.
