July 18th - Thursday in Gothia Cup and sunny and hot today, just like we like it.
Breakfast at 9 and then we take the boys to the Heden Center, Gothia cup headquarters where they buy some gifts, souveneirs, etc. Its walking distance from our hotel so nice morning walk too.
Games for Boys C and Boys A are both at 2:20.
Boys C play an English team and lose 4-1. We are just beat up and too tired. We have moments but no consistency. Feel bad for the boys as they are trying so hard.
Boys A are the same and lose to a Norwegian team 5-0.
I think that is 28 games we have played total so far since we left on July 6th, crazy amount of games. No playing time issues, that is for sure.
Boys attitudes are good and we have a great dinner followed by viewing a fantastic U17 game between Sweden and Japan. Good to watch and learn from some high level games.
Surprise room check tonight so eager to see what our staff has found and the stories we will hear.
No soccer on Friday and will be organizing some fun stuff for the boys.
No worries about curfew violations here as boys are too whipped to try it.
