July 17th - another glorious day in Sweden, sunny and calm, around 75-80 today, just gorgeous.

Boys C have early game at 8 so depart at 6:30 am. Good spirits. We play a team from Sweden and it gets ugly as the ref did not call much and our boys finally had enough and decided to be aggressive, no complaints from us. We lose 4-0 but they fought a ton and did great.

Boys A next at 10 am and we play a fantastic team from South Africa. Great to play against a team like this and we learn a ton, lose 5-0 but happy with our organization, etc. We are exhausted.

Boys B we decide to forfeit and save our bodies and its the right thing to do, hard to swallow but our injuries are piling up and soreness at an all time high. We get a nice lunch and chill and then off to the Boys C playoff game and we play a team from Saudi Arabia and it turns nasty during the handshake as they are rude and belligerent and try to scare our boys. It did not work and we win 3-1. Boys did great and kept their class which I am proud.

Back on the bus for our last game of the day as the Boys B have their knockout game vs. a team from Sweden. We change things around a bit and play some different positions and we lose 3-0 but once again happy with our performance.

2 age groups advance to Thursday and the As and Cs advance.

Dinner, another great one, and then the boys get their phones, and hopefully all call home to say hi.

They are in bed early tonight as expected but a great day here. The last 2 games our chants have finally taken hold and we are having a blast!
