July 10th, great day for Stars 'n Stripes.
Boys slept in for first time, or so we allowed them, but when I went down to breakfast at 8:30, half of them were already there, lol. so much for 9:30 am breakfast. We don't have any games until the evening so we walked a few hundred yards to the edge of the Baltic Sea and had the boys get in for recovery. It was cold but great for the boys, check out the pics and video.
Lunch and our first souvenir shopping, which as average, and then back to school to chill and prepare for our next round of games.
Boys A first at 6:10 pm and we play our best game of the cup. Aaron scores a nice goal and we go up 1-0 but 3 goals in the 2nd half sealed our fate 3-1 but we played very well and organization is so much better.
We rush to the B game and catch most of the game. We dominate this Finnish team but just don't put them away, going up 2-0 and then up a man before they score a crazy goal and then a 2nd with the last kick of the game. Tied 2-2 but we play very good and boys should be proud.
Dinner, another good meal and we arrive back at school a little after 10. The rest of the school is waiting for us and our boys have made quite an impact with the Mongolian boys, Estonia girls and Swedish girls.
Boys have their phones for an hour so enjoy their stories.
Thursday is playoff day so we want to try and play as much as possible so wish us luck.
