Tuesday January 3rd and game day, nothing like waking up knowing you get to play and in Madrid, Spain of all places.

Great breakfast and 10: am departure for game. Great field and good opponent and we play very nervous and make a ton of mistakes and lose. We did some good things at times but lots to work on. Just too many mistakes at some crucial parts of the field and we got punished quickly.

Boys spirits were down a bit but we discussed the game over nice lunch and they will be fine. Back to hotel for some relaxing time and then we walk all over downtown Madrid and had a blast.

Great city, over 6 million and seems all were out tonight shopping and eating, but a really bustling city with cool people. Weather has been good, chilly around 35-40 degrees but sun is out and no wind so it feels great.

Dinner at 9 to end another good day and boys are tired. Combination of 9 hour plane right, time change, excited nervousness, walking miles, and of course the game, no worries sleeping tonight.
