Epic is a great word to describe.  What a day!!!

Breakfast at 7:15 for Jack and Santi as we have them guest play with a team from Houston and they play great. Lose 2-0 but both were stellar.

Brooke and Molly leave next for their game, win 3-0 and Molly scores.

Boys A next at 2:30 and we play the best club in Sweden, by far. And they are so cocky its insane. Well guess what, we are organized, disciplined and we win 2-1. Jackson scores first off a cross from Cannon and we are up 1-0 at half.  We give up a goal first minute into 2nd half and Cory Wright scores on last kick of the game directly off a corner kick and we send this team to the showers in tears. Great crowd as you can imagine but we win and silence them.  What a GREAT accomplishment winning this  game, one of those that will stay with you  for years.

Boys B next up and play a team from Norway and lose 2-0 and we dominate play and should have won, but did not finish our chances.

Dinner at 6:30 and then off to opening ceremonies. Hope ya'll had a chance to watch this as its unbelievable.  2 hours of singing, teams marching out, events, and fireworks.  Hard to describe but put it this way;  Every fan needs to see a World Cup and every soccer player needs to experience the Gothia Cup. the World Youth Cup.  It is EPIC.

Kids in bed by 11 am and we play more games on Tuesday.
