Games started today and the kids made a great splash.

No breakfast club so we let them sleep in until 8 am breakfast.

After breakfast, we went to town to walk around, do some souvenir shopping, etc. and then back for lunch at 11:30.

Bus to games and announced our captains so far;
Boys - Adam Witte, Junior Arvizu
Girls - Christine Tamburini, Emma Heasley

Boys A - which is our older group played first.
Lost 1-0 but played great and had a goal called back that  apparently was over the line.  Regardless, boys did great.  Tristan made a PK save as well.

Girls next - won 5-0 with goals by Christine Tamburini, Katelyn Havard, Lexi Marroquin, Emma Heasley, and Nicolette Casarcia - Jo McCray with the shutout versus a womens team!

Boys B - which is our younger boys played last and had match of the day as they played the Region champions and were down 3-0 after 10 minutes and won 4-3 with 2 goals from Donovan Smith, then Cory Wright, and Adam Witte.

Great first games for all and I was very happy with our  level especially after a long week of travel and training.

Back to sports center for BBQ and kids are packing for 5 am departure.

SnS has a tradition of naming a player of the game/day - POD - for each game.

Boys B - Adam Witte
