July 17th -  Boys are excited after opening ceremonies so  lets go and play some football.

Boys A - play a team from Belgium and cannot put away our chances and suffer consequences as we gave up a late goal and lose 1-0. Uphill battle on Wed to see what slot we advance in.  Time to bring their A game.

Boys C - play against a team from Uganda, if they are 15 I will eat my hat, oh well, we go up 1-0 with goal from Brandon V but fall 3-1, some tough calls, but welcome to Europe.

Boys B - play against a team from Norway and go up 2-0 as Darrin Mcguire scored 2 goals and was on fire. Leave it to us to be cocky and we gave up a soft goal and had some interesting moments as we hung on and won 2-0.

Bboys have some time at Heden Center to shop, intermingle, and shop, another great dinner and curfew at 10 pm.
Special night for me as Gothia Cup inducted me into the Hall of Fame for 25 years of service and over 2000 American players participating in Gothia Cup.  I am very humbled and moved by the ceremony and cannot express my gratitude to all of my past players, current  players, and to my close friends in Sweden.  We have a special relationship and one that I cherish.

Now lets go win some games on Wed as after our morning games, playoffs start in the afternoon.
