Last full day on tour and we had a blast, no soccer at all, only sightseeing and relaxing.
After we slept in and had breakfast we all walked to the harbor and took a 30 minute boat ride to Elfsborg fortress, one of the most preserved fortresses from the 18th century. It was blast and the kids walked the island, viewed dungeons and cannons, and witness crafts from the past. We really had fun.
After the fortress we allowed the kids to walk around town and simply relax which most of them did. Then another great dinner and we had our tour ending wrap up including awards, etc. I will recap the awards later in my last journal entry.
We are now off to Stockholm on a bus for our 7 am departure as we start our long day back to Dallas. Kids are behaving and most want to come home although they also would like to stay another week. I personally am ready to go home as I am absolutey exhausted from the tour, a good exhaustion though.
We are looking forward to seeing all of our families at the airport and will try and check in from London if we have time.
From us to all of you, we miss you.
