No access tonight so text message is the update. Great day for SNS. Mix of sun and rain and chilly at times.
Boys C tied 2-2 vs the Italians but played poor. Could not find rhythm. Clay and Austin were goal scorers but had to fight for the late equalizer.
Boys A played a great game vs the Hungarians. Speed of play was special as were both goals by Emmet. Girls teams watched and cheered.
After boys games we went to lunch and the town for the internet cafe and changing money. Kids spent most time playing soccer and skills outside. Maybe our talk sank in. All teams headed to evening girls games.
Girls A played very well and destroyed an Austrian team 12-0. Ashley got 3 goals, Lindsay 3 goals, Gianna 2 goals, Tiffany 2 goals, Rachael 1 goal and Kendall 1 goal.
Girls C played next but did not play well. A Sloppy 4-0 win but coaches not happy with performance. Sarah got 2 goals, Cheyenne 1 goal and Amanda 1 goal.
Mad rush back to the school and for the 2nd day they held dinner for us. Kids have cell phones but curfew is 10pm tonight. All 4 teams are in the Semi-Finals on Thursday so wish us luck.
