Day at the beach - Very leisurely day as we head to beach, not a bad walk, probably about 40 minutes at Ed Pace. Ask the kids about Ed Pace. We actually found a short cut to the beach and when we arrived we saw a much better beach and decided to walk through the water to get there. Water was cold and crystal clear. We saw a ton of starfish, snails, clams, crabs, and jelly fish. Had a ball as we walked close to 1/2 mile in the calf deep water. Spent about 4-5 hours at the beach and what a time we had. The hottest day of the week and sunny and clear, about 75-80 degrees. Ice cream, sand soccer, soccer volleyball, and swimming were on the agenda. We made all of the kids get in the water, I think it is the Baltic Sea or the North Sea, as the sand bar went out quite a ways.
Long walk home and time to dress up for our annual team dinner with the boys in ties and dress pants/shirts and the girls is dresses/skirts. Italian food and man was it good. Took some great team shots as well. Ice cream to top it off and now the kids are packing and cleaning. Long transfer planned tomorrow as we head to Sweden.
Denmark and Frederickshavn were great hosts to us this week and we all truly had a ball. Just wait to see what I have on the video to get a really good idea on the tour. More tomorrow, good night.
