Last full day in Europe and what it a day to remember. After breakfast most of the kids packed while a few of them shopped a little more. Finals at Ullevi stadium were next on the agenda and we watched Girls U-17 final and Boys U-16 final. great atmosphere.
Lunch and then off to dinner dressed in our sunday best, girls in skirts and dresses and boys in ties, do not worry, I have pictures to prove it. Pizza, lasagna, calzone, and salad and what a great meal. upon our return to our school our annual tour awards were passed out and the winners are as follows: girls player for Iceland - Maggie Strain girls player for Gothia cup - Kyra Lecocq girls most improved player - Axie Russell girls most consistent player - Laurie Holmes Ambassador award - Chelsea Robertson girls player of the tour - Charlie Sorensen boys player of the tour - Mike Dardanas John Koutoupis award - Charlie Sorensen
Great job to all and what a fantastic tour but it is still not over as sittups were handed out by the hundreds and and thousands for lack of discipline, will they ever learn. Some of you have no idea what we as coaches are going through!
Seriously a great chat with the kids about the lessons learned, etc. One last long transfer day and the kids are waiting for homecooked meals, actually some of them are asking for McDonalds, and seeing family. See you all at the airports and will have one last entry after I return to my family.
