Playoff day in the dana cup started with the boys beating a team from finland 1-0 on a goal by craig tucker.  after a sloppy first half the boys stepped up and played a great 2nd half. they are now in the eightfinals tonight.  the girls were next with a game against a canadian team and kirby wells once again provided the margin of victory in a tight 1-0 victory and now the girls are in the eightfinals as well.  after lunch and relaxation time, the boys and girls played at the same time, 8:40 pm. remember it is light until almost 11 pm here.  good news first, boys played one of the best games of the tour and won 2-0 against a norwegian team.  now for the bad news, the girls competed against one of the best teams we have seen in some time, going down 4-0 in the first 10 minutes. final score was 7-2 but they played their hearts out.  just a better team against them.  the girls ended the tour with only 2 losses, not too shabby. the boys are now into the 1/4 finals on friday morning so wish us luck.
