Gothia cup - tuesday - day 2 in gothia cup brought us a great girls 16 game as the girls played a swedish team they met in the 1/4 finals last year, same result, 2-1 as lauren king scored in the last minute to pull out a victory.  the girls 19 tied 0-0 in a game they dominated but did not play well while the girls 14 continue to roll with a 2-0 victory as caitlin watson got the shutout. the boys once again played on the heden fields and dominated a hungarian team but lost in the score column 2-0. they are frustrated but their brand of soccer is very impressive, they have to win on wed.  wednesday will determine the placements of each team for the advancement rounds and wins by all 4 teams will place us in a nice situation.  the weather has once again been superb and our swedish hosts are brilliant. most of the kids went out to dinner with parents and friends as they prepare for tomorrow, 10 pm curfew demonstrates how important wednesday is.
