Thursday - with only the girls left in the tournament, all of the attention is focused on them as they play their first playoff game.  they play another American team and win 1-0.  a good game but a better indication of how this team has come together.  the brightest spot was the boys and their excitement and cheers and energy they brought the girls when they needed.  it was a great site.  the evening brought the girls second game against a Norwegian team.  after being down 4-2 at the half the girls put together a tidal wave of pressure and ended up winning the game 6-4.  once again the boys were instrumental in bringing a level of energy that few have seen in a youth game.  now time for dinner and relaxation and some watching some high quality games.
